Hillcrest generally looks for companies with the
following criteria:

EBITDA: Between $1 million and $5 million

Purchase Price: Less than $20 million

Sector: Any stable, growing, non-regulated industry

Stage: Established companies with a record of growth and positive cash flow. We are not interested in turnarounds or venture investments.

Geography: Prefer Upper Midwest

Ownership Percentage: Hillcrest seeks control transactions where it will own greater than 50% of the equity post-transaction.

Partner with Management: Hillcrest seeks to invest in companies with strong management teams that are committed to staying on post-deal to share in the opportunity to build value in the company. We work with our management teams to develop a strategic plan for long term growth as well as take advantage of immediate opportunities. Our management teams are committed to driving growth while sharing in the success of the company.

Growth Potential: As we are long-term investors, we seek companies that occupy a niche in the marketplace and have the potential to drive sales and increase profitability through growth opportunities.
